New Foundations Home Education meets weekly in Hirwaun Village Hall from 1pm to 4pm. The centre is well placed with a bus stop right outside the front door, a large enclosed car park (free) at the rear of the building, chip shop (caters for gluten free) post office and newsagent all on the same street. As Wales longest established Home Education charity we pride ourselves on our inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. We welcome new families with children of all ages to play, learn, create art, make friends and learn new skills. We are just launching our new lego club on the 6th August 2019 in our new home in Hirwaun. We have families who use all types of elective home education and pride ourselves on being able to offer a wide range of advice and support for those who need it.

As you look around the site you will find we try update the timetable every week and do our best to provide good links to a variety of educational sites as well as other groups in Wales. The group takes pride in bringing together families and children of all ages to socialise both at the group and outside.

At New Foundations Home Education we don't judge each other’s choices. We are home educators that accept children/families of all ages.

We have a strict no bullying policy so that children and adults can feel safe. We are open every Tuesday in term time and organise a variety of optional activities such as swimming, ice skating and park meet-ups on other days to suit members.

We encourage feedback and/or suggestions so you can let us know what you want to do here so we can work together on making it happen..
